Pointform Biography:
-Born in Norilsk, Russia in 1998 to a blue-collar family working the industrial district of the city. Father was a veteran of the Soviet-Afghan war whilst mother was a nurse at the local hospital.
-During the winter of 2008 his father commits suicide leaving him at the age of seven to help support his mother. He’d take up working in one of the local metal shops as well as going hunting with local neighbors in the Siberian forests.
-By 2012 Valentin is juggling an apprentice job at a local mechanic, working the night janitor shift at his school, and keeping food on the table for himself and his mother.
-The summer of 2014 Volkov’s mother is diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and is unable to work any longer. Stress and depression begins to overtake Valentin causing him to lose his jobs and fall to unemployment.
-It is now 2016, Ms. Volkov passed away during the winter of 2015. Valentin is now unable to keep the house and lives the life of a homeless teenager. Crashing at different places where he could with just the belongings he had on his back.
-Ukrainian Separatist conflict grows larger during the year of 2020 and word reaches the ear of Valentin who decides to take the journey of the attempt in joining the separatists.
-Present day of 2021, Valentin entered the main area of the conflict. Not apart of either faction he is now stranded along with the rest of the refugees.
